A Brief Look at Crystal Hunt

In this day and age, having an entertainment career that spans from childhood well into adulthood is hard to come by. Actress Crystal Hunt is living proof of this fact of life.

Crystal Hunt was born on February 5, 1985 and is a native of Clearwater, Florida. The earliest she had involved herself in the entertainment business came when she was only two years old, when she was actively participating in pageants for acting. When she got older she moved on from simple acting pageants to starring in commercials and television advertisements, a notable example being anti-drug ads alongside pop band *NSYNC to celebrate the Disney Company’s 25th anniversary.  She has pictures from that time in her career on the official Crystal Hunt Facebook.

Crystal Hunt’s big claim to fame is starring as the character of Lizzie Spaulding in the CBS daytime soap opera, Guiding Light. She was a regular on the show for three years, starting in 2003 and her work with the series earned her a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series in 2005. She was also recognized with a Soap Opera Digest Award for her role on the show in that very same year. After leaving Guiding Light, Hunt took on another role in a soap opera, this time on ABC’s One Life to Live, where she played the role of Stacy Morasco on and off for three years, starting in 2009. Though she left the show only a year after first debuting, she would pop up as a recurring character through her remaining time with the show.

Although soap operas were her biggest and most prominent roles to date, Crystal Hunt has taken part in various other movies and television shows throughout the course of her career, and has even branched out to be a photographer. Hunt has played roles of different sizes in other films such as The Derby Stallion in 2005, Sydney White in 2007 and the summer hit from 2015 Magic Mike XXL, with a sizable role. Also in 2015, Hunt began starring in a reality television series called Queens of Drama, where she starred as herself among several other notable entertainers in business.
